How To Make Money as a Writer

I came across this great link today on Copyblogger and had to share it with all of my readers.

“Who Pays Writers” is a great resource for finding out what other writers are getting paid for writing gigs and what or if companies are actually paying.

How This Resource Could Help You Land a Freelance Gig

There are pages upon pages of different companies that have worked with a freelance writer. If you’re stuck in a writer rut, why not make a list of some that grab your attention and reach out? That’s what I’m going to do (when I get the time of course!)

Please share this link with all who you think might be interested. I’m going to share this with one of my best friends, Coretta Edwards, a journalism major at Kean University. (See her picture below)

If you know of any great resources or have tips for freelancer writers, leave a note in the COMMENTS section.

  • Thanks for these links, Rana. There are many writing/publishing groups on Facebook, which may be helpful for networking and getting published (for pay).

  • Here are 2 links to Fb writing groups, Rana.
There are many more. I only know about them because of my childhood friend, Michael Strickland, from Orange, NJ, who is an author of children’s books and other kinds of writing now living in Idaho. The following link should get you to his Fb page: Rana, I enjoy your posts. As I’ve told you before, you’re a very lucid writer.

    • Thanks! I’ve been a reader my entire life so, naturally, I enjoy writing. I think I must have read every book in Orange Children’s Library as a child. I’m glad that you enjoy reading my posts. Please let me know if you ever have any topics that you’d like to see me write about.
